Portraits of Intimate Memories

The main motivation for this work has been to rescue individual stories of ordinary people; people whose stories are rich with life and a particular vision of the world. Not only a biographical study, it is a reflection on our past, present and future, a perception of the self and its environment. These are large format drawings on canvas that represent a journey through intimate memories, a dialogue between text and figure about family, friends or personalities that have somehow struck my interest, works in which the subject is portrayed through the juxtaposition of figures and words so as to create a symbolic and conceptual view of their realities.
